 <p>The article substantiates the necessity of revising traditional IT outsourcing classifications in the context of digital transformation. Existing models (total, selective, co-sourcing) are predominantly descriptive and do not account for the fundamental dichotomy between quality and cost. The author proposes an original binary typology dividing models into two polar types: efficiency-oriented model (EOM) and cost-optimization model (COM). A system of 15 parameters is developed, covering financial, technological, organizational, and strategic aspects, allowing a quantitative assessment of a model’s belonging to a particular type. Integral indicators of innovation activity (Imethod) and CI/CD pipeline efficiency (Ecicd) are introduced, based on DORA metrics and adapted for outsourcing companies. Analytical characteristics of each model are presented, including methodological basis, technology stack, personnel structure, and financial mechanisms. A comparative ROI analysis for a three‑year horizon shows that EOM yields 30–80 % in the first year and 200–300 % over three years, while COM yields 15–30 % and 100–150%, respectively. The results can be used by customers to make informed outsourcing strategy choices and by providers to position their services on the market. The proposed typology allows moving from subjective choice to a quantitatively substantiated decision.</p>

 <p>В статье обосновывается необходимость пересмотра традиционных классификаций ИТ-аутсорсинга в условиях цифровой трансформации. Предложена авторская бинарная типология, разделяющая модели на два полярных типа: ориентированную на эффективность (EOM) и ориентированную на оптимизацию затрат (COM). Разработана система из 15 параметров, позволяющая количественно оценить принадлежность модели к тому или иному типу. Введены интегральные показатели инновационной активности и эффективности CI/CD-пайплайнов. Представлены аналитические характеристики каждой модели, включая методологическую базу, технологический стек, кадровую структуру и финансовые механизмы. Результаты исследования могут быть использованы заказчиками для обоснованного выбора аутсорсинговой стратегии, а провайдерами – для позиционирования услуг на рынке.</p>
